Crispy Corns

What are Crispy Corns..?

Crispy Corn Recipe in Barbeque Nation Style is super simple to make and calls for just a handful of ingredients.


There is nothing fancy in this method, the corn kernels are half cooked, coated with flours, then deep fried finally tossed with some spice powders, onion and lemon juice squeezed on top before serving. But if you don’t have chaat masala in hand, never try this recipe, as it is the main ingredient that lends the perfect BBQ Nation style taste and flavour.

Ingredients -

  • 2 Corns

  • 1 tbsp Salt for boiling

  • Water for boiling

  • 1 tbsp Corn flour

  • Salt to taste (1 tbsp)

  • Oil for frying

  • 1/2 tbsp Red Chilli powder

  • 1/2 tbsp Garam Masala

  • 1 tbsp Chaat Masala

  • Salt to taste (1/4 tbsp)

  • Chopped Coriander

  • Lemon Juice


Instructions -

  • In a pan with water add corns and 1 tbs of salt and cover and boil.

  • After boiled, drain the excess water and let cool the corns.

  • After cooled, add corn flour, salt and mix well. Same time heat oil in pan for frying. Add 1 ladle corns in oil for frying and fry till corns turn crispy.

  • In a small bowl take red chilli powder, garam masala, chaat masala and salt and mix well.

  • Now sprinke the seasoning on the crispy corns.

  • Serve tasty crispy corns with chopped coriander leaves.
