Masala Macaroni (In Indian Style)
What Is Masala Macaroni..?
Masala Macaroni is a pasta dish with a desi or Indian twist. This Indian style paste is spicy, loaded with cheese and is perfect to serve for breakfast or lunch. Here is how to make it.
It is a simple yet delicious pasta recipe that has an Indian taste to it.
To make it, macaroni is boiled and then sautéed along with ginger, garlic, onion, tomato, capsicum, beans, carrots, and peas.
It is then flavored with turmeric powder, red chilli powder, Italian seasoning, red chilli sauce, tomato ketchup, salt, lemon juice, and fresh coriander.
I also add processed cheese to add a gooey texture to the pasta. You can even serve this delicious dish for your weekday breakfast.
1 cup Macaroni
1/2 tbsp Salt
Few drops of oil
Water for boiling
3 tbsp Oil
Chopped ginger and garlic
1 chopped Onion
1 cup chopped Carrot
1 cup chopped Bell pepper
1 chopped Toamato
1/2 tbsp Turmeric powder
3/4 tbsp Red Chilli powder
1/4 tbsp Garam Masala
Salt to taste (1/2 tbsp)
In a saucepan add water and macaroni and add few drops of oil in it and let it boil. After boiling drain the water and keep aside.
In a pan add oil and chopped ginger-garlic and saute.
Then add chopped onion, carrot, bell pepper and cook for a while. Then add chopped tomato and cook well.
After cooked well add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala, italian seasoning, salt to taste and combine well.
Add 3-4 tbsp of water so that it doesn't stick to the pan. Then add boiled macaroni and mix well.
You can also add little cheese in it as per taste.Serve Masala Macaroni is ready to serve.
