What Is Cheese Balls..?

Cheese balls recipe. An ideal vegetable and cheese-based snack recipe known for its gooey cheese burst. Cheese balls are an ideal kids snack recipe which can also be done and served to adults for any occasions and party. There are many variations to this simple snack of cheese balls recipe, but this recipe has an extension with the goodness of potatoes in them.

Cheese-based recipes and snacks are very common across India. These may be used directly or indirectly to the dish which gives the gooey and creamy taste to the dish. One such hugely popular common dish recipe is corn cheese balls recipe known for its crispy texture at the outside and mouth-watering taste in the inside.

Ingredients -

  • 4 boiled Potatoes

  • 1 cup Onion

  • 2 green chillies

  • Chopped coriander

  • 1 tbsp Chilli flakes

  • 1 tbsp Mixed Herbs

  • 1 tbsp Salt

  • 1/2 tbsp Chaat masala

  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice

  • 1/4 tbsp Turmeric powder

  • 1/4 tbsp Garam masala

  • 1 cup All purpose flour

  • Cheese cubes

  • Oil for frying

Instructions -

  • Take boiled potatoes in a bowl and mash them properly.

  • Then add chopped onion, chopped coriander, chopped green chillies, chilli flaxes, mixed herbs, chaat masala, turmeric powder, garam masala, lemon juice and salt as per taste and mix well.

  • Then add maida (all purpose flour) and mix well. Add more flour (maida) if required.

  • Then apply little oil and knead.

  • Now take small ball size dough and make it flat from center and place cheese cube. Cover the cheese cube with the same dough properly and make ball.

  • Do the same with the rest of dough.

  • Heat oil for frying.

  • Now fry these cheese balls in oil. Fry till they turn crispy golden.

  • Tasty Potato Cheese balls are ready to serve.
