Suji Ka Halwa (Semolina Pudding)

What is Semolina Pudding..?
Semolina, when made sweet, is called sheera. Several variants of this dish are available under other names in various parts of India. For instance, in Maharashtra, it is called sheera which is the sweet version and in North India it is called sooji (suji) halwa or Mohan bhog.
Suji Ka Halwa or Sooji Halwa is a simple Indian pudding made using fine semolina and is a 15 minute affair. This Indian Semolina Pudding is also called as Rava Kesari or Rava Sheera in some parts of the country.
1.5 Bowl Boiled Water
2 tbs Ghee
1 Bowl Suji (Semolina)
1 Bowl Sugar
1/2 tbs Elaichi Powder (Cardamom)
Firstly boil water.
In a saucepan add clarified butter (ghee) and let it melt.
Then add semolina (suji) in it and mix well. Roast continuously till it turns slight golden.
After that add boiled water and at the same time mix well. No lumps should be formed.
Add sugar / powdered sugar and combine well.
Mix well on low flame till sugar melts.
Add cardamom powder and dry fruits and mix.
Serve tasty hot Semolina pudding.
