Veg Steamed Momos

What Is Momo..?
Momo is a type of steamed dumpling with some form of filling. Momo has become a traditional delicacy in Nepal, Tibet, as well as among Nepalese and Tibetan communities in Bhutan, as well as people of Ladakh, Northeast India and Darjeeling regions of India.
Ingredients -
For Dough =
1 cup All purpose flour
1 tsp Salt
Water for kneading dough
For Stuffing =
1 tbsp Oil
1 tbsp Ginger - Garlic Paste
2 Green chillies
1 cup Cabbage (chopped)
1/2 cup Carrot (chopped)
1/2 cup Bell pepper (chopped)
1/2 tbsp Salt in stuffing
1/2 tbsp Black pepper
1/2 tbsp Soya sauce
Instructions -
In a bowl take all purpose flour add salt and water and knead a soft dough.
Now place a pan on the stove and add oil, ginger-garlic paste and saute for few seconds.
Then add chopped cabbage, chopped carrot, chopped bell pepper and combine well. Stir and cook. Don't over cook it.
Turn off the flame and add salt as per taste and black pepper, little soya sauce and mix well. Cool the stuffing.
Now take a lemon sized ball and roll thin. Then place momos stuffing and start making pleats.
Seal the top tightly.
Place these momos in the steamer and steam for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes momos are perfectly ready.
Serve tasty Veg Momos with momo chutney and enjoy..
